Clyro is built offline-first: your shop's sales, inventory, invoices, and expenses are stored locally on your device using an on-device database. Clyro does not include any advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs, and never sells or shares your data.
Camera access is used only to scan barcodes and to take photos of products or your shop logo; photos are stored on your device. Photo library access is used only when you choose a photo for a product or your shop logo.
Clyro requires a free account so your shop data can always be restored if you switch devices. Once you're signed in, your shop data — products, sales, expenses, invoices, and settings — is automatically and securely synced to our cloud database (Supabase), so it stays backed up and available across your devices. Day-to-day use of Clyro remains fully offline after you sign in; an internet connection is only needed to sign in and for periodic background sync.
Notifications (for example, low-stock alerts) are generated locally on your device and are not sent through any third-party push service.
